How your cabinetry is built.

Materials & craft

Every Berco cabinet is specified to materials and hardware we can name, not vague promises. Here is what goes into it.

Plywood carcases, as standard

Our standard carcase is multi-layer solid-wood-veneer plywood, pressed with German MDI adhesive, F4-Star rated (no added formaldehyde), moisture-resistant and strong under load. Finished with aluminum kickboards as standard.

Quartz worktops

Non-porous quartz surfaces: scratch-, stain- and heat-resistant, and simple to keep. Wine, oil and vinegar wipe clean.

Lacquer & melamine finishes

Eco-friendly lacquer in matte or high-gloss, and fine-texture melamine. Edges sealed with PUR and laser edge-banding for daily wear.

Blum & Hettich soft-close

Austrian and German hinge and drawer systems, calibrated by hand at installation so doors and drawers move the same way for years.

Kesseböhmer & Peka storage

European pull-out and fitted-storage systems: larders, corners and drawer inserts, fitted where the layout calls for them.

German machinery

Manufactured on German board presses and edge-banding lines, built for consistency across every run, then finished and fitted by people.

We do not own the factory. Your cabinetry is cut and finished on European production lines we buy from, and we would rather say that than let you assume otherwise.

Layout, storage zones, appliance placement, counter flow, lighting and hardware, decided together before anything is built.

Measurement matters

Renders aren't enough. A proper site measurement is what makes a custom fit actually fit: around bulkheads, uneven walls and real ceiling heights.

Design, approvals, production and installation each take real time. We'll tell you what's realistic up front, not after you've committed.
